My highly anticipated 8000k HID fog conversion *petenj hope u got broadband*

I finished it today, it came out really nice, the install went very smoothly. It was raining today so I didnt get the wall pics I was hoping for but here is some pics for now.

why post the same pictures twice?


what fogs do you have? they look like 6000K HIDS

those look great, but if they are both 8000k, why do they look diff? is it cause the camera?

well I didnt really notice they look different, they look identical in person. It is probably just the way its captured on the camera. They may have a slight color difference becasue the fogs are brand new and ive been runnin the low beams since august, but like I said in person its not noticable and I finally have only 2 colors of light up front, not the 4 different colors the G comes with stock.

if you compare these two pics the first one the lights match perfect,



however a similiar shot the fog looks a lot bluer than the low beam,



so it has to be the angles of the pics becuase some they look the same and others they have different shades... but in person their the same

Um...in both pics, your lowbeams look 6000k and the fogs look to be 8000k

+1...but you might be right about the burn in time of the lowbeams, they do get whiter over time, i know my 6000k bulbs have.

That's because in the first shot he had the high beams on. Those shoot up the light upwards. Many times when I drive in a dark a$$ wooded areas and turn on my high beams, they will illuminate in an angle upwards - probably 6' and higher. That's why in the picture, the purple is above the white.
