Scissor door conversion for our cars..

What do you guys think about doing a conversion on our G.. take a look at the pic of the Z from the recent All Nissan Bash meet this past weekend in L.A..

Anyone have an idea of what we are looking at price-wise?

Can't wait to see pics of this...I wouldn't imagine the G would look as good as the "edgier" cars would with scissor doors, since the G is more of an elegant design, but I would love to be wrong.

It looks like it would be pretty hard to get into the car with doors like that. Do they go up any higher?

If your in Florida, my buddy does this at his shop all day long for about $2200 Installed. And warranties it. The Shop is in Clearwater, FL by the way, if interested.

the ones i'll most likely get are direct bolt on..no screwing..no drilling..no cutting..and basically they open and close like factory..and go out 10-15" like normal and then they go up..or you have the option of goin directly up..you dont have to put them up all the time..only for shows..

Hey! I think I saw that car in 2 Fast, 2 Furious! LOL All that's missing is the neon lights, and Vin Deisel.

Re: Scissor door conversion for our cars..

Carlos,
The doors don't always have to go upward every time you open them. They come out about 15" i believe before you push them upward. So essentially you get the best of both worlds: Regular doors for when you won't want to be showy and look like a jackass, and lambo doors for when you want to be the envy of every single guy that sees your car.
