Just wondering what you got compared to the blue book if you traded a car in.

I traded in my 98 240sx se. Its blue book was 9500 and they gave me 10500 for it. I was pleased by that. Also, they took 1000 of the MSRP for my car. For some reason they really wanted to sell my car - makes me suspicious. But I got the Elite protection plan so if anything goes wrong, it is covered so I worry less.

 

I tried to... but they only offered me $2500 BELOW book for it. That was the only disappointing part of my purchase experience. However, I went across the street to CarMax and sold my car to them for $500 over book value for it. So, with check in hand I purchased my G35 coupe.

 

I was offered like 500 off MSRP and My mustang worth 14000 bluebook (low miles great shape) they offered 11500. I took it because It was the only way I could get financed it seemed. I got really railroaded by my dealer. I am thikning of filling out the Survey I got really negativly and maybe calling there consumer affairs cause there was other things they did not so nice and outright lied to me (on financing espcially). I am still upset to this day they did not even show me the coupe. When I asked about it, they said, It's the EXACT same thing just 2 door instead of 4. I would have gotten the coupe if I was in the know.
