1. back pressure = poor air flow. poor air flow = loss of power
2. If I read this right, you're tuning the Vortech with a reflash??? How are you addressing timing?
3. If you change out your cats you will be running LEAN LEAN LEAN. Do NOT hit boost until you get your car TUNED or you'll blow your engine for sure.
4. Do you have gages with your set up?
5. Posts like these should be made in the forced induction forum.

Well I got the Crawford high flow cats installed today @ Street Image, First I have to say is that is a top notch shop, very clean, and the mechanic know is shiznat. I will be taking all my other installs that I cant do myself to them!!
So anyway back to the install. Currently I'm running the Vortech intercooled centrificul supercharger, Crawford V-5 Plenum, DC headers Pro-1 Y-pipe and the RS*R Exhaust. After installing the Crawford high flow cats I noticed a difference in the rev's, seems to rev faster now than before. Idle is a lil deeper, But when you rev it up it sounds great!! Not as loud as I thought it was going to be. There really is little to no "Raspy sound" at all. SO as I left the shop on my way home got on the frwy and opened it up a lil, WOW......I LIKE!! It boosts up quicker, Pulls stronger from 3500-6500 RPM. I have the chance to mess with some rich looking guy in a new porche. I don't think he liked it when I pass him while he was totally in the gas, He had the pricless MasterCard look on his face as I walked right by him with a lil more pedal left under my foot. LOL Well this mod was worth it for sure. Not sure how much you would notice it on a NA car. But I am pleased. And the overall fit of the Crawford cats are OEM!!

No none at all, Infact the installer said that normaly the cat's never lineup right on the flange ends, But this is his first install on a set of crawford cats and he said that were too easy. Fit's like OEM.
