Wheel paint

My wife just got her first scuff on the rim of the performance tire package. It is a small black scuff now. Does anyone have a touch up remedy for this?

Re: Wheel paint

Try using some touch up paint that you can buy at Pep Boys or Kragen or whatever auto supply store is near you. If it's scraped bad, You might want to file or sand down the scrapes, polish it till smooth, Not too smooth though and apply the touch up paint. Or if this makes you squirm, you might want to leave it to the proffesionals at a Wheel repair place. They should be able to match up the color. However the Paint they use in japan was supposed to be Lead based, Something the EPA frowns on here. Well Good Luck!

Re: Wheel paint

Do a search and you'll find a code for some Mazda silver paint they sell at Walmart. Some others have said it's a near perfect match.
