"sigh" some real jerks out there
i get back to my car last night from the movies - and i find someone snapped my passanger mirror - thankfully the actuall mirror was not damaged, but the plastic connecting it to the body - dealer wants 140 labor and 55 for the part =\ anyone happen to know how to replace this, maybe i can do it myself. - sorry for crap pictures, camera phone =\

sorry bro. But looks like something can be fixable by urself. They did the same thing to my VW Jetta and I was able to fix it. Search how to open door panels and see if you find anything. Good luck!
Hey...
Talk to me on AIM. I can tell you how to fix that, as someone did the same thing to my car about 4 months ago and I fixed it myself. You'll have to order a new side veiw mirror from here, for about 155 bucks shipped:

My AIM screenname is partyman66. It's not really that hard to fix, but you'll be using your current shell from your already-painted mirror and installing it on the new black plastic support. Unfortunately, you can't buy just the support... you have to buy the whole mirror.
There are some tricks that need to be done to do the install if you want to use your old shell, but I'm a little too lazy to get into details here and post the whole thing.
It's not hard to fix, and all you need is a set of screwdrivers and a basic ratchet set.
