It's ok. You'll be good with your 17s. The way I understood it is that 17s are recommended over 18s for the snow, just like if we had to choose between 16s and 17s, people would not recommend 17s, so I realized it's about 95% about the tire and tread and about 5% about what size is that tire. Mine came with Blizzaks M22 in the rear and some cheaper snow tires up front, but in almost new condition so I should be ok. We'll see tonite, there should be few inches coming down.

Probably one of the best looking winter tire setups out here. Ip is a very nice color.

Looks good, especially for a winter set-up.

But I'm not seeing the pearl, just the ivory.

Creative and different. For the winter I give it a big thumbs up. Especially good car and rim color choice if you get any salt on the roads where you are.

Most people don't realize how big of a tire fits the wheel wells of a G35 coupe. The 18" snow tires still have plenty of side wall to protect you through the snow and pot holes. I can see people saying 18" are not recommended on Accords and Civics though.

Those actually look pretty tight! Did you get em powdercoated so they last a longer? Yeah I personally wouldve gone with 17s because you actually want a NARROWER tire width in the winter to cut through the snow. But i'm sure these work just fine with winter tires on em! Looks slick!

Winter

Thanks guys for all the compliments. Although after 2 weeks of driving, you can't really tell they're white, because of so much brake dust and other dirt. I finally had a chance to test them on some light snow this morning and they performed very well. We'll see later on in a deeper snow. Be safe.
