Overspray on G!

I was wondering what can I use to get overspray off my G. I bought this car used but the rear bumper has been painted and the dumb a$% that painted it did it while it was on the car. That is what I am thinking. Just need some info.
Thanks,
T

Try a claybar, that usually removes any overspray.

I recommend the same thing! I have done this before, and it worked beautifully. It takes a little time depending on the area you need to do, but I would suggest doing the entire car anyway to remove other impurities from the paint elsewhere. It'll make it the paint slick as he|l! Just follow it up with a coat of wax.

If an over the counter clay bar (from major auto supply store) doesn't work, try to locate a local detailing supply shop or autobody supply shop and you can find clay bars there that remove coarser contaiminants. BE SURE TO KNEED THE CLAY FREQUENTLY! You will probably need to use a good polish afterwards (actual abrasive polish). After polishing, be sure to follow up with a good sealant!

Doesn't even have to be a "dumb a$% that painted it while it was on the car". I got a little overspray on my bumper when it was in for paint, mainly from the car sitting close to the booth within the shop. Stuff happens. I'm taking it back to have them remove it while other stuff is getting done.

I've used Mother's Cleaner Wax with good results before. My wife was spray painting something in the driveway, with the garage door open. The wind blew the overspray into the garage and got both of our cars! I wasn't happy.

cleaner wax is abrasive wax. it will remove the over spray but it will also remove your clearcoat with it. don't use cleaner wax unless you have to.

i would try claybar, then try ScratchX before trying CleanerWax.

I was only saying that the person was a dumb a%$ because it covers about 80% of the car maybe more. It should have been prepared better before painting is all I was saying.
