Clearance Strip on Coupe
Hey... can someone also show me how to change the bulbs of the clearance strip in detail ? I have the bulbs I just want to change swap the bulbs at this point... please help

Just look up instructions on how to change the fog lights. They are in the same cluster. Turn wheel. Remove five clips and a screw, bend back fender protector and voila.

I did mine 2 weeks ago (as well as my fog lights). That's about as easy as it gets. There's no other access to the bulb than through the fender protector (like 'Puff said), if that's what you're asking.

That layout is a nice attempt, but the pics there are actually too dark to really show you what you'll actually be working on. They also don't show you the Clearance Light changout, just the Fog Light change.
Just check the FAQs both here and on FreshAlloy, or simply do a "Search", and you'll be able to find links to better and more detailed instructions that have been written out for both.

I thought that the fog and the clearance swap out would be the same.. wouldnt that lead me straight to the clearance light?

look above at KOJO26's picture.. thats the clearance strip and it along with the clear corners turn on when you turn on your headlights

Remember, there are no dumb questions.... only dumb people that ask the dumb questions [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]. Jk bro....
The clearance light comes on when you have your parking light on. It comes on when you arm your car if you have an aftermarket alarm, etc etc. But mainly its there for "design" purposes and to look cool I believe.
