05 MT noise?

I just got 05 MT demo with 5K miles on it. When I am on full throttle, around 5krpm – 6.5krpm, and step on the clutch to shift up, it makes a scratchy-grinding sound. I can feel it on my foot, too. Do you think it is normal or that I got a defective car?
Any comments will be appreciated!

Sounds like it's grinding, (can you feel it in the shifter?) so either the clutch is worn or needs adjustment, or you're shifting incorrectly.
The dealer should be able to help.--- warranty since you just got it.

Crazy you said that, I have a 05 with 5k on it as well, and when i step on the clutch i hear that rattle, but i don't feel it on the actual shifter. I recently got an oil change and it hasn't shown up since.
