Just curious but does standing gas sit well for that long in the tank? Or even other fluids?

It should be fine until April, but I would recommend throwing a bottle of Stabil in the tank. It can't hurt, and is a good safety measure for only 5 bucks.

If you're looking for winter car storage tips, here's a bunch that I posted a few weeks ago. Should be a pretty extensive list... hope it helps:

The gas and fluid will be fine. I would be more concerned with his car sitting on concrete till April though. I would recommend having the wheels off the floor to avoid flat spot. Every year, I put mine on jacks on four corners and have the wheels completely off the car when I put my SL away for the winter.

And don't forget the trickle charger!!!

When I saw the pic of your G in the garage my first though was...."Trophies above your car???? what if there's an earthquake?" Then I saw you were in Indiana.

In California, I never place anything above my car in the garage, all it takes is one 4.5 + earthquake to knock something off a shelf and on your hood.

The dealer in san diego had a nice car cover on sale for like 150 bucks, but it also had extra padding in the door area to prevent door dings.

there is a type of insurance that you can do that you pay hardly anything just to pay for it if something happend to it while it was sitting in the garage or if it got stollen but if you get caught driving it your screwed

Didn't cancel, just took it down to storage. My bank allows you to take full coverage off of the car if you want to store it. Many don't. Not worried about someone stealing my car while its locked in my garage and the keys are in a safety deposit box. Live in a nice subdivision also.

LOL yeah, if we have an earthquake there's something really wrong. Na, thats where my 1973 Charger that I restored ususally sits in the summer. Hence the Summit Racing stuff and trophies. Wife wanted a spot in the garage this year (can't blame her) so the Grand Cherokee and G sit inside, Civic outside, the the boat and Charger are in storage.
