G35 Coupe Drivers Side Door Lock Cover

Is there somewhere to buy the G35c Drivers Side Door Lock Cover? I want to smooth out my lines and cover up that ugly key hole.

its called a escutcheon keyhole cover

you can get them at any infiniti parts dept for like $15

yes, it does come painted. here are the part #s

IP - 82646-AM808
CB - 82646-AM816
LR - 82646-AM815
BO - 82646-AM805
DP - 82646-AM807
DG - 82646-AM817
BS - 82646-AM810

If your keyfob runs out of battery you will have no way of getting into your car unless you tear that thing apart.

the keyfob running out of battery isnt a problem, batteries usually dont just die instantly, they drain slowly, so youll notice when your battery is running out of juice...

yeah they come painted! and when you remove the stock one, theres a handy little screw holder in your door for the screw that holds that piece, its kinda tricky but not that bad, worth it imho!

did your keyhole happen to have a nasty date with a screwdriver?

So how does it install? Do you just pry off the piece surrounding the keyhole, and then snap this piece in?

did it ever! it was like a greek tragedy that morning. my neighbor was going to work at about 6:30 am and noticed both my windows were down. then she saw the lock . she rang my doorbell to wake me and when i saw it, i almost passed out. the lock was pushed halfway into the door with almost a 2" hole above it. i couldnt open the driver's door and both windows wouldnt even stay up! i had to roll them up and disconnect the battery just to make them stay. the ignition wasnt touched though, thank goodness. but FYI, im 6'4", so it looked like a special olympics tryout with me getting in through the passenger side. sorry, im just venting right now.

I go the piece today but, I need some guidance on the install. The escutcheon has a bracket inside of it. Looks like I have to get into the door from the inside to install.

Anyone have any guidance?
