Cool Old Man!!

On my way home from work this older guy probably in his 50's pulls up next to me at a red light and say's "hey! is that a reall skyline?" dude had the biggest smile and i didnt want to burst his bubble so i said "yeah its straight from japan" ..he goes "great i love those cars , it looks great take care of it" lol thought it was pretty cool he even knew what a skyline was... cool old man in my book.

Wow! That guy has at least three years on me. He is old!

And those guys on the Corvette site said the skyline had no heritage.

It is cool though that this is a car enjoyed by a diverse age group. I'm not big on mods, I bought the G for it's looks, the engine and to satisfy my mid-life crisis.

It's also great that everyone at work references my car at one point or another in a positive way. When older people ask me why I bought a coupe, it's not practical, I reply "because I can"

To all you young whipper snappers out there the truth is at age 48, Internally I feel and think the same as I did when I was 23. I constantly have to remind myself to act my age at work.
If you think young and enjoy life then what was cool then is still cool now.

The only problem is when I put on my "Keds" I can no longer run my fastest and jump my highest. (do they still make Keds)?

Hahahaha, quite a few, but don't sweat it bro, once you get up in your 50's and 60's, you realize it isn't that old really......
Sure we lose a little in dexterity, but we can usually make up for that in smarts.
One things for sure, we all enjoy our G's (and M's).
Colin.
