Till the end of next year....but its always for sale. Have 30K on it now while she sleeps thru the snow. Figure it will have 35-40K on it by the end of next year.

5 is the national average, and I'm guessing I'm an average kind of guy.

I typically hang onto my cars for a long time, but... then again, this was my first brand new car. I'd probably have a hard time parting with it when the time comes, and by the time I go to sell it, I'd most likely be about 3 or 4 years into a fresh mortgage. Since I already own a Tacoma as my winter beater, I don't think I'd want to spend any more money on a brand new vehicle just for the sake of having something super-showy.

I predict I'll probably own mine for like 10 years or something, or maybe the entire life of the car. I guess our finances are a big factor in determining what we will all be driving a few years down the road of time.

Over the pass 30 years, I have kept my cars through their useful lives. However, I am planning on purchasing a 2nd replacement car for my Bimmer, as an early retirement present for myself. I am stuck between an M5 or a Porsche.
