why is my G smelling

now im worried,
i just took my G out for a major ***-kickin, i was with my freind and was trying to show off, figured i had 1800 miles and it was nicely broken in. so i basically took it for a 2 hour drive in the mountains in Los Angeles, red lining it ONCE and just driving real hard pushing hard turns,, i couldnt stop smiling the way the car was performing ( except my alignment )
anyway then i took it too, 110MPH, and then for the last 20min of driving i was just driving normal staying under 3-3500 RPMS when i got home, the hood was really hot and various smells where coming out of everywhere with heat lifting out of everywhere along with loud ticking noises coming from under the hood, i popped the hood and a gush of heat poured on my face, with burning smells..... but there was no smoke coming for anywhere

i expected this some what, but is all this normal? i mean isnt the G35 meant for hard driving, i dont know just seemed like when i parked the car it was telling me " please dont ever do that again to me "

Normal

After 2 hrs of driving, car will be very very hot.
Ticking noise is car cooling down from crackling heat.
Smell is from new stuff in car breaking in, oils, greases, etc.

I've seen a lof of folks in the first 5k mention this as well as white puffs of smoke out the exhaust during hard driving - both are normal, that explaination I saw said that Nissan/Infiniti puts some chemical in the exhaust for transit over the Pacific that slowly burns off in the first 5k miles.

Don't even trip....the G35 is not a perfect car....but the engine on that car is a friggin TANK, I redline it all the time....it just begs for more.

She was just tired from that hard run. Give her a bath, get here cleaned up and she'll be ready to take out on the town again.
