Christmas present question: exhaust

My parents are paying for a new exhaust and y-pipe with install.

I was thinking about a fuji y-pipe and a Greddy SP-2

[and if anyone could sell me these things used, I could get new headers and sways as well-- pm me, (sorry about the shameless plug)]

Will they gotogether? Would there be any reason why they couldn't be??

I suggest you get some Strup headers instead of an exhaust. They show big gains, much more than an exhaust. The stock exhaust already sounds nice. On exhaust systems, all youre paying for is a different sound. Headers will make your stock exhaust alot louder and deeper. You get much more for what you pay for with headers.

Well, the tuner I went to when I installed my other mods told me, that my exuast was holding my preformence down. I'm GOING to get a new exaust, and hopefully I'll have enough money left over to get some headers

Well, if your tuner says so. Right now, the current rwhp and tq champ, is the Stillen.

hey Jtrain you ever consider the injen SES exhaust??

its a true dual, so no y-pipe needed. and it sounds bad as hell.

im lookin to sell mine.

$700 shipped.

althought since youre not paying for it, im sure you wouldnt want a used exhaust...so...uhh...yeah.

i got crawford headers also if you eventually get in the market for those. they are brand new, never installed. $800 shipped

plus, i think headers would net you a bigger gain than any exhaust could.

lemme know

I'm looking to stick with my High-flow cats that I JUST bought lol-- I love em =)

So if I could use em with those then yes, other wise i'd like to go this route.

I'm in the market for cheeaper headers =\

but with these headers, youre getting the best available for a price comparable to cheaper made, less power-gaining sets out there.

now, i can understand you not wanting to spend too much cash on mods, but i also suppose you wanna do it right and get the best performance. the crawfords offer that.

why dont you also just get the Fuji exhaust to go with the Fuji y-pipe?

Did some homework, SES is TD, I definitely don't want that if I'm staying N/A (which I am) Thank you tho thejared.

I don't like the fuji exaust-- its tips are ghetto big-- the SP2 is very tasteful O.o
