Crawford High Flow Cats, warranty, emissions test
Hey guys, I was planning to do some exhaust work soon. I was going with the Fuji exhaust, and Fuji Y-Pipe. Then a friend of mine at 350z, told me to get crawford highflow cats too. I was wondering if these cats void warranty and if they will fail the emissions test. Feedback from people with these mods would be awesome, or anyone who knows. Thanks ahead of time!
crawford cats will not fail emissions...i honestly cant see cat's voiding your warranty, unless of course they are the direct cause of something else going wrong (ex. running real lean and Kaboom). I believe cats will lean our your A/F, but nothing significant enough to cause problems. however i do think crawford cats arent nor any high flow cats are designed to last as long as the OEM ones...
Any mod will void warranty if it is infact proven that it caused the damage to any given part of the the car. If you have a cold air intake, and then your suspension breaks, of course theres no way possible that the cold air had anything to do with it. With the high-flows, you will pass emissions.

I've been thinking about ordering the Crawford high flow cats for a while now, doing lots of research. They seem to be an awesome product with great reviews. I actually just got off the phone with Doug from Crawford and he said they have never had any problems passing emissions. When you order the cats from their website it will say "Off road use only". I asked Doug, thinking this meant it would not pass emissions, but he said it will and they have to write that on the website because technically it is illegal to replace your OEM cats before 80,000 miles or 6 years. However, whos gonna know your driving on aftermarket cats? 
I just placed my order 20 minutes ago , good luck.

the law that makes it illegal to replace cats -is that tenesee law or federal? because crawford is in Tenesee, so he might have just been thinking its illegal there.
What do you guys think of testpipes instead of cats? seems like a lot of people on my350z have gone this route.
