hey mozy... chill man.. theyre just stating opinions.. everyone has their own definition of "love" right ? there is no right definitiion. Same goes with looks of cars.. some like it, some don't... and finally.. some have their own perception of what they call "rice" cars. You may not be happy with what others believe is an ideal rice car, but too many.. just changing the front headlights to green would make some people say RICE and others would say "Clean"... You just have to learn to respect what others think... Good luck...

i changed my mind on what wheels i want now
i kinda want mesh
and now that Le37ts are available in 19s im even more confused
i dont car when i get them as long as i dont have a bodykit on stock wheels, so i guess i gotta decide in the next couple weeks if i want to get the order in time.

The wing is somewhat wide.. but if you saw it from the full rear view you would see they only made it as wide as the fenders of the car are.
I like the rear add on, and I might just buy that and the spoiler, or just the rear add on by it self if possible. I'm looking for wild side skirts, such as the veil side supra type skirts, but with out the brake venting pocket, because that wouldnt be functional. I like how the rear is a little more agressive, and gives more extreme dimensions to the dual polished exhaust tips.
the front is sorta dull in my opinion, and the side skirts are about as fun as the stock plastic mud guards on my 2002 dodge neon.
To me.. since we all got on the topic of rice.. Rice is the term used for whats inside peoples minds then they arent open to what they see. Just because someone doesn't agree with how something looks, or performs.. is no reason for that person to put it down.. and make those who want such products feel like idiots.
I say this because I like the rear add on, and After a bunch of people just called it ugly, gay, and ricey.. Im thinking I'll be called that to.. and that hurts.
Were all just trying to find parts to customize our cars.. and all of us im sure can fully agree, that althoguh we may not like the body kit, or the wheels others put on their G.. it's still a G and you gotta respect that.

Veilside is a japanese company and this kit is marketed for japan not the states. I'm sure that Veilside will sell a crap load of them. And since you asked, I think RICE is a TRD sticker on an accord, or a two foot "racing" wing on a 120 HP civic. Not that any one cares but I think it would be hard to make a G35 look ricey.

I also think, maybe some people just dont like the kit because they have yet to see it in their color.. maybe thats it .. well I mean I did this off the top of my head from, how I recall the colors looked at the dealership by my house.. and Maybe in new colors people will like the G a little better with a body kit?

And maybe red and blue? these colors.. i know are probably way off.. because like i said this is off the top of my head.. trying to put my memory to use.. but i recall seeing those four colors and a silver one as well .. oh and black which im not going to attempt.

It's one thing to dislike this kit or any others but I get the impression that some feels insulted by it eventhought they will most likely never see it. The kits mere existence seems to be a slap in their face. I suggest not looking in any thread named "New Body Kit from ..." if you get so pumped up about it.
