i had zero mods on my car for the first year.... then after i placed the stillen exhaust........ in two months, i went to HFC, Pleneum, aem cai, alphawerk headers, clear corners, rims.... damn, two months, lots of money, and now i am looking into FI...... will this ever stop!!!!!!!! b/c after this, i am going to get me some flywheel, then new clutch, and if i still have the bug, cams, valve job, etc.......stop me!!!!!! the ITCH!!!!!!!!!!!

I told myself before I bought my care, ZERO MODS. The G is lovely stock. Then you bastards post about how "COOL" your mods, how "PRETTY" they are and how you gain those little horses that I want so much more of!!!! YOU HOSERS LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO ME!

That is a very fimiliar scenario with me too. Either you hope she isn't home when the package arrives, or you get to install it without her knowing. If it's performance you may be able to slip it by her. One example is after I got my headers and test pipes put on, the next day we were driving, immediately as soon as I went > 3000 RPM, she goes... "WTF DID YOU DO TO YOUR CAR!!! ". Of course I mentioned to her before I was considering buying those parts, but she didn't really think I would, oh well. Not everything has a high WAF. I wonder if I can slip going FI by her . Mod on, enjoy.

 

It is for sure a sickness, the more your on the boards and the more you hang out with other "car people" (esp, G&Z guys) the wose it gets.
