Worthless, save your money. I'm assuming it's a slightly larger diameter? Increasing the diameter of one of your 1-2" long pipes by a fraction of an inch is going to do nothing for you. If there's something else attractive about it, please share.

How big is the TB in the G? TBs aren't generally a bottleneck in a relatively stock engine.

Depends on diameter. Give us both and lets see.

I'm not sure the amount of gain for the money on stock engines, but this would be a great mod for forced guys.

throttle body upgrades arent worth it unless you are pushing 600-700 horses... how i know? i own a supra with 500 horses... stock throttle body... opening up your throttle body by 1mm is not going to make a difference in flow characteristics unless you go mega-horsepower crazy with the VQ

VQ35DE size is either 70mm or 75mm--can't find a straight answer on that.

The 4.5 V8 size is 90mm, and should be drive by wire as well.

Curious: what size is the TB stock in that Supra?

Several Max owners threw a pathfinder throttle body in their cars....IIRC there wasn't much of a performance increase, and it was really expensive.

Well yeah...70mm or 75 mm on a stock to well modified VQ is not going to yield anything. The 90mm is just giant.

If the TB is 70-75mm, then that's plenty for any setup. 65mm is enough for 400hp.

Damn. Why does the FX45 use a 90mm TB? That's just overkill.

Maybe the engineers felt that a big pipe in the engine would help offset the feeling of inadequacy in that of some of their drivers?
