Do I need a Transmission fluid cooler?

If so, which one should I get, and can we put synthetic fluid in our cars? I thought I read OEM Nissan fluid only..

Re: Do I need a Transmission fluid cooler?

Depends on what you plan to do to/with your car. If you leave it in stock condition and commute to work with it, then no, you don't need a transmission cooler.

Give us some more details on what you plan to do to the car, and how you plan to drive it, and I'm sure someone here can offer some helpful suggestions.

Re: Do I need a Transmission fluid cooler?

My current mods include a Stillen Hi flo with the Z pipe, UR racing pulley, and Borla Exhaust. Its an everyday driver and I do sit in extreme traffic here in Long Island, and I will run with anyone.. traffic permitting.
