Re: New Skyline GTR

Like it says in blue font on the top, it a CG of a design thought about. So of course it's fake. But it good to see that R&D is keeping it alive and magazines are at least feeding us any spine tingle they feel about the GTR.

It gives me hope before I really think about selling my car for an R34. (I miss boost and the AWD aspect on top of it also I'm a road racer at heart)

This is the main reason that I do not want to do any engine mods or extreme body work on the car. Knowing that there probably will be a GTR down the road in 4~5 years, it will make it easy for me to sell my G35C for one....

We can only hope! =)

Life's to short to wait though.....live in the moment. not in the future........I say Mod the hell outta your G35 and enjoy it, then take a bath when you sell it....cause you know the GTR is gonna be big bucks.

Re: New Skyline GTR

the body style looks very simular to our G, black housing G35 Coupe headlight(Projector's perhaps?), aggresive front bumper, molded side skirts, I think our G coupes could look exactly like this just with a bodykit...

Re: New Skyline GTR

I love how it looks...takes just the right amount of styling cues from the G but still carries a more aggressive look. Let there be no doubt - if it looks anything like that, I am going to own one even if I have to sell my soul to make the payments.

That's the concept R35.. It won't look like that for production...

Re: New Skyline GTR

I wouldn't trade my G for any other coupes currently selling under about $50,000 from what I've seen, possibly more. As far as the pic of concept car I posted. When I trade my G off years from now, I would rather the new G to look more similiar to the concept car than the pic at the top of this post. I would just as soon get a kit for my current one than go with that.

Back to the reason I posted in the first place, is the pic at the top of this post a definate fake or not? If not, what's the URL? Just asking.

Rob

Re: New Skyline GTR

Does anyone know the engine specs for the GTR? I think that it is around 450hp or something like that... torque? I read that whole press release and it didn't even say anything about what kind of engine this thing might have. I mean, the M6 is still two-three years away, and they already have the projected engine type and hp and torque estimates.

I am still excited and would also sell my G right away to get that 450 hp? power! MAD $$$$ though, but somehow I will get it... my two cents...
