1/2 spacer and engine cover
yes/no....it's a tight fit and will rub against the hood, so it's not recommended. Now if you bring it in for warranty work, you can slap the hood cover back on for that (although if the tech. has half a brain, he'll notice that for some reason the oil pouring hole thingie is mis-aligned now, heh)

i have the same setup as you except for the plenum spacer, how is the sound after the spacer.

it's louder/deeper.
to be totally honest, i was a bit disappointed in it because i Had really built myself up - after the z-tube+power duct removal, the car howled like a banshee above 4k RPM. So I was almost expecting it to produce the same impact as having an off-road exhaust setup. So I basically set my expectations a bit higher than they should have been, but regardless, it does sound deeper/better.
But trust me - you'll have a ****-eating grin after you drive it with the spacer - before, around 5K to redline, it always felt like the car was choking and dying; now, it ****ing screams to 7k RPM and feels like it's begging to run aall the way to 9K, absolutely no stopping it. Plus I managed to kick the back end out downshifting from 2nd to 1st, giving it 1/2 throttle, then upshifting again. So overal, definately worth it.
