A rattle question

I've had several squeaks and rattles on my G35 coupe which I have been able to identify and repair, but I'm having a problem identifying the source of one rattle. It sounds like it's coming from the front passenger side of the car. It almost sounds like a lose part that rattles slightly when I go over a bump. I weant to emphasize that it's a rattle and not a squeak. Any suggestions as to what may be causing the rattle?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Is it the window... there is a TSB for a "Pop or Tick noise from front door window glass" ITB03-058

http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi.../ITB03-058.htm

I noticed the rattle "pop/tick" when my window was partially down and hitting a bump...

The two rattles I've had on the passenger side are the seat belt hasp clanking against the door pillar and the seat back recline lever vibrating against the base of the passenger seat--this was fixed by applying a few layers of tan duct tape between the lever and base.

i too am fustrated with this repeated problem. my main frustration is toward the passenger side window. brought it in 4 times now for ticks and pops over road conditions and still the dealer did a sh ttty job fixing it or not fixing it.

anyway, i searched the TSB site for how to uninstall the inside door covering but couldnt find any instructions. i need to know how so i can take a look myself and ride without it + a buddy to check out wtf is rattling in the door.

can anyone help me with the instructions how to remove the inside door coverings?

Next to the inside door lever, pop out the rectangular cover and unscrew the screw underneath. Very gently, with an electrical tape covered screwdriver, pull off the door handle escutcheon (the silvery long, narrow plastice cover) and unscrew the screw underneath. Then, the entire inside door panel just pulls off snap-by-snap.

i tryed pulling off the door handle ascutcheon but it wont bugde. i used the screwdriver with tape covering to stick it into the openings of the door handle but it seems like its attached to the locking block right on top of the silver handle. i stick the driver in the cracks around it and pulled aswell but its not budging. i unscrewed the screw already but its still tight.

should i pull harder or theres like a technique to it??

Work your way up. Then when you're at the top, I've found it easiest if you used your finger wedged between the trim and the handle. Work slowly upwards from back to front. Hope that helps. It's also particularly difficult the first time but there's nothing locking the trim in other than clips that snap in.

Im in LI and with this new blast of cold up here my rear glass has been popping. I turn on my rear defroster every so often to help stop it.

I wouldn't suggest using a screwdriver. You'll end up scratching something. Just use your best judgement. It'll take force. But if you're twising and bending in weird ways, it is metal and can get messed up.

You've got to use something more than your fingers, so a taped screw driver or a plastic trim wedge you can get at parts store are necessary. It takes some effort to get the piece start. I did break mine at one time but got it replaced by the dealer for free.
