Replacing stock head unit with in dash tv monitor

I have a 5AT Coupe and want to buy a Panasonic In Dash TV Monitor, but I'm not sure if it can be done. Has anyone switched out the head unit, because I know originally that there was a concern about the a/c chip and the volume control? If anyone knows anyone that has done it or a thread to show me that it can be done please let me know a.s.a.p.

u cannot just replace the stock headunit. u can add that panasonic to any other part of the dash (ie: cut out next to emergency flasher, or install in the cubby where OEM nav should be). but taking out the stock stereo will not work unless u have a friend in Japan that can get you the JDM double din dash with AC controls

I thought I saw a picture on here somewhere where someone had swapped out the headunit with an aftermarket LCD unit... its been a couple of weeks or so.
