Iso Thermal not working??

i just installed my MD 1/2 Iso Thermal plenum spacer. after driving around for a bit i could feel the extra power like many have said. but after when i put my hand on the plenum, it was soooo fricken hot! it might have been even hotter then before installing it. i'm sure i follewed the instuction exactly. people have said that its cool to the touch. is something wrong? should i be able to feel the difference in temperature? thanks

the cool to the touch thing only works when you're driving (moving).. if your sitting in traffic then yeah it still gets hot

With the Aramid thermal isolating gasket installed, the upper plenum is not "cool" to the tough by any means. However, with the gasket installed, I can place my opened hand down on the plenum . . . Whereas prior to installing the said gasket, I probably would have scolded my hand.

same, the only way you'll notice the difference is if you touched if before the installation and burned your hand, then you'd know the difference ^_^
