Yesterday as everyone knows 1/4 of the US and some Canadian cities lost power. I happen to live right outside of NYC where we lost power for about 4 hours and I still have no cable internet at the house. We were lucky because our block was the only block with power that turned on around 8pm last night. Being that no one had power and cops were busy with the lights in my town I decided to take the G out for a spin on the empty highway and sidestreets. I went crazy, didn't get pulled over. I was doing about 120-135mph on the highway for a good 20 minutes and than took the sidestreets back home not dropping below like 4500rpm. In the hour I was out I used a half of a gas tank but stopped due to the fact that I may not be able to get gas tomorrow so I conserved the rest for the work commute. It was alot of fun. Anyone do anything special with their G yesterday? Poor RamboRami lives in Detriot, they still don't have power, he's probably saying to himself. "This is some major Battle Damage."

There are only 15 people on G35driver at this moment which is really rare.

Heh... It's rather odd I find myself saying that you're luckier than me - we didn't lose power!
With all the cops engaged in traffic control and all the other assorted problems associated with a huge blackout like that, you must've had a blast. I'm jealous!
You must live near my parents, they told me the same story - lost power from about 4:00 to 8:00 - Bergen County, NJ?
Anyway, sounds like you had a blast, congrats!

I don't know why you wish you lost power. There was nothing to do but drive. I had my plans all laid out. I was going to go to the gym. Get my buisness cards printed. I had to do some web work. Needed to go to the orthodontist to get new retainers. All of that got shifted when the power went out so I ended up driving, eating pasta before the sauce went bad, and giving myself a pedicure ROFL!

I was so aggravated because I planned to wash my car after work yesterday since the rain is finally gone for a few days- I couldn't get into the garage because it's power. I tried to get into the back window but cant fit anymore like when I was a kid. So I ended up going for a ride as well. I work in Montvale, I'm surprised I havent seen you on the road yet. Did you buy your car from *****?

I got my car from the Englewood dealership not from Ramsey. I have seen your car on route 17 I think. Well, I have seen 2 black coupes but I'm not sure who they are. I know I saw black on willow but I think its AMT. Was that you on 17 North a few days ago kind of on that large hill near the dealership / Bottle King?

BTW: I love California I can't wait to move there. I go out there alot and stay on The Strand in Manhattan Beach. You might have seen me walking down Rodeao Drive in my crazy Hat.. hehe-_-

Nope, it wasn't me. I live in Rockland, but work in Jersey- I do go on 17 once in a while, but I havent been on that road in a while. A few months ago I saw a few G's on the road, but I cant even remember the last time I was one on the road. That's a good thing- we don't want too many of these cars on the road.

I live in Rockland too. I've seen a few black coupes around, most of the time on Rt. 59 in Nanuet. Are you male or female? Because if you're female, I think I was behind you the other day near the mall. I first noticed the car-- a black coupe with aero and the 18" wheels, but no Brembos, so obviously an automatic. Then I noticed the blonde behind the wheel. Was it you?

This is Ralph- I know the girl- she works for Verizon. She bought the same car as me. Thats my car exactly- automatic. Anyway- my buddy who works for Verison said she was looking at the G or the Z and she saw my car and loved it- so she bought it. She's not bad looking. I've seen her on 59 too now that you mention it.
