Please prove to me that this is wrong because I would like to get the new bumper as well as it was one of the reason why I wanted an 06. I actually went back to the dealer and complain about it and they show me the rest of the 06 5at and they were all the same old style bumper.
I even call corporate and asked them to confirm if ALL 06 should have the new bumper and they really dont know crap accept for me to bring the car back to the dealer, which was a waste of my time.

Something is not right with your G.
06' 6MT and AT with Sport-Suspension Package have unique front fascia and side sills as indicated on the 2nd to last page in the 06' brochure.

I'll second what the guys seem to be saying here: I've been shopping around for an 06 5AT with sports kit and aero package, and all that I've test driven have had the unique front-end and side skirts. Seems really unusual that you're not seeing any around- perhaps there was a production run change and your dealer is sitting on a 'first batch'?

You got jacked. I have an 06 5AT with sport suspension and I have the new bumper. You didnt answer if you have 19s or not, 17s and 18s look like 05 bumpers.

lol , hopefully I didnt got jacked. I got the 18's so I guess that was the cause for mine not having the slick bumper. I feel better now because I was about to make this a big deal with the dealer. Although I still have the side kit.

Ill just dish out a few hundred for the new bumper skin later on. ebay got some for $190+ $150 shipping + $100 paint= face lift.

You didn't get jacked. You didn't pay for the "Sport-Tuned Suspension Package", so you didn't get the bumper. Simple! If you had paid for the package that includes the new bumper, you would have also gotten 19" wheels.

I know it is simple as it sounds but this is my first time ever that a different bumper was part of a package. Usaully its just the basic add on like spoilers, body kit , etc . Its my fault for not reading carefully.

Has anyone actually put the 06 sport bumper on their '05 or earlier car?

I need to replace my front bumper & spoiler on my '03 and am being told by body shops (& dealer) that the '06 sport bumper won't mount. So I was wondering if anyone has actually done it yet and can verify that it does fit?
