Ok I have 11k on my Black coupe and the bumper is chipped pretty nicely. I figure in another year it should be grey. Now obviously I will want to fix it at some point and now I would want to protect this time. So the impul front bumper is looking pretty nice at this point, but........

How can I protect a custom front bumper as in can I get a clear bra for custom bumper??

Or can I get a paint job that would actually hold up? Extra clear coat? Something, anything that will not get chipped up.

Well what are my options?

 

put some lead paint on. to hell with the EPA

 

How bad is it chipped? I have about 5500 on mine and I have one small chip that you can only see if you get w/in about 6" of the car. Most of my miles have been interstate as well. You must be tailgating 18-wheelers or something.

Nah I try to stay away from them for the most part but it's still chipped. I just dont want to spend money on a new bumper and have the same thing happen again.

 

5,500 miles on my black coupe and the front end is covered with small chips, hundreds of them! The car looks like it is covered with dirt or dust when it is clean. I plan on getting it repainted in a year or so with anything other than Nissan paint!
