If anyone is interested, here's the sticker for a pretty heavily loaded 2004 Caribbean Blue 6MT Coupe. Couldn't see any obvious visual differences between 2003.5 and 2004. Note the last entry in the Safety & Security equipment: Tire pressure monitor (warning light).

How about the diffrent Aerodynamic body kit? Lists for $1,190 On the infiniti site the "Cheap" Aero kit is now $600 and does Not include the rear spoiler. While the one for over a Grand does plus the New Chin Spoiler, err or lip spoiler......

I just read all that stuff on that coupe. That's almost exactly what I want! Excluding the xm radio. Is the xm radio worth getting?

 

not for $400 busks! you can save almost a hundred dollar if you order one from Grubbs Infiniti and put it on yourself. It took my friend less than half an hour to slap it on and working.

 

Interesting. Installing it yourself would be hunrdend bucks cheaper? Oh yeah, cause youe doing it yourself...but is xm radio worth it? I'm not even sure what exactly is it. If I don't need that, then I'll just stick to cds and the fm radio.

mine on the rear deck. Reception is perfect. If you like music this is for you. If you like talk radio, this is for you. If you like a variety of music, this is for you. If you like peace and quiet maybe it's not for you. I bought it because I got tired of buying new CDs everymonth. The $9.95/month is cheaper than one CD. Hope this helped.

 

Yeah, you buy a LOT less cd's every month because of xm..making the $10/month well worth it. Plus xm's in-depth variety of music and visual display of artists and song titles makes it easier to find good cds to buy when you want one. I don't even listen to fm anymore.
question for bmw5_coupe: What does the stock install of xm lool like? Is it a black treck antenna mounted on the roof? I ordered my '04 with xm installed...after paying almost 39k for a car I don't mind paying an extra $100 to make sure the xm is installed to factory specs...and to be able to listen to it as I drive off the dealer's lot!

 

justme97...Yes the factory installed antenna is roof mounted. This one happens to be for Sirius, but the XM unit looks about the same. I'm not sure if the antenna is a Terk or not. I've heard Clarion units mentioned in other posts. Someone that has one can probably comment on this.

Is that a pic of a tb coupe??? It looks black like I've heard but if you look at the corner of the bumper it looks a little blue. If that's tb I'm seriousely consitering changing my order from dp...

Yes. That's a twilight blue 6mt coupe in prep. This particular shot was taken in a service bay with poor lighting. It probably is the darkest shot I have taken. Twilight blue is a very dark metallic blue, but the darkness in this shot is more a function of a poor photographer rather than the color of the car.

I've got more pictures of TB coupes in the service bay, but haven't posted, figuring I'm starting to bore everybody to death with these

On another note, I've seen blues from bmw and to a less degree by audi that look almost as dark as that coupe looks like in the bay even when they are in the sun. Is tb lighter than that? What kind of "edge" does the blue have it, is a brilliant blue or more of a subdued navy blue (like the kind limos often use)?

 

The Terk one is a bit better and smaller. Circuit City and Best Buy have them. It is about $50 and it is the Terk XM3. Goes on the trunk and you won't notice it after awhile
