tires

Am thinking of changing my tyres, i'm currently running on the potenza RE050 that came stock with the 05 coupe 6MT package, was thinking of changing to either the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW or the michelin PS2. Also i was hoping to get slighly wider tyres. I have the stock 19 rims which i'm pretty sure are 8 inches wide in the front and 8.5 in the rear, does anyone know how wide a tyre you can safely use with the stock rims. Oh and not sure if this will affect it but i've also got the Tein H tech lowering springs which dropped the car about an inch.

cheers guys

what are these tyres' that you speak of...they must be something new for cars, if anyone knows what they are let me know, I might wanna get some for my car...haha but anyways I have the g-force they are good atleast for me they are, the only problem is when its really cold out they make a little too much road noise, but thats because they are summer tires, and I drive them in like 20 degree weather, but I recomend buying them

I had the KDW on the coupe for about 10K miles. It's a good tire in all weather but it puts out alot of road noise which I don't like especially for a new tire. You can see why by looking at the tread design, it resembles a truck tire almost. I've now switched to the T1R and like it alot more, quiet and grippy, but I only switched because I've gone with a different rim. If you can put up with a little noise the KDW is a decent tire.
