Painted Engine and Battery Covers

Hey guys i was looking around and i saw that some people have had their engine and battery covers painted...i just wanted to know...how/where do you get that done and how much? I saw online one guy got it done by grubbs infiniti but i live in michigan...can any dealer do it?

Why have the dealer do it when they would charge you a bundle? Do it yourself and enjoy your own workmanship. The paint cost $5.00 and the 3M masking tape was about $6.00. Do a search on painted engine covers.

Since I have a black car I'm painting mine gold to match the brembos. I just need to find good paint that adheres to the plastic and be find under extreme heat conditions.
