Infiniti Service

On saturday I had to have my car serviced due to the Brake, VDC, & Slip lights staying on when i am driving. I heard through this website that it was probably the throttle body sensor. Turns out it was the sensor and was a simple fix covered by warranty. My brakes were also worn to 1 mill according to the receipt print out. Those were also covered by warranty to they replaced them. So car is running fine, no quarrels.
The problem is professionalism. This is the second time i have used Inf dealerships. I have been to the only two in Connecticut. They gave us a loaner that was not clean, garbage in it, not washed, cigarette ash. They never reset my Nav warnings. When i got in the car the radio was blasting loud. And my first time at a dealership for a different issue they tried lying to me about needing new rims in order to get a sale out of me.
I am officially done with inf dealerships unless its a warranty issue. Infiniti is suppose to be revered as a luxury dealership and they have yet to impress. I cringe at the idea of going there.
Anyone else feel the same?

Sad to see that. I bought at Gunn Infiniti in San Antonio Texas. They were professional, courteous, and had attention to detail. I will be the first to admit that they are not the cheapest! But, I have had nothing but great treatment there.

well you should be at least greatfull that they replaced your brake pads as that is not a warranty item! But yea overall I Think they should do better. I can tell you that any mercedes dealers my parents have been to dont the least bit compare to any infiniti dealership. I think that when they see my history on the computer and reads that I needed my engine rep[laced under warranty (cost the dealer $13,000) a couple months after buying the car, they just don't like me very much! Back then the car was so new that there were no rebuilt motors to replace with and since it was water damage, it didnt even go through my insurance. LOve stickin it to them! RX

I have an 04 G35 coupe. Brake and rotors are covered by warranty for 3 yr 36k. Every G for that year and 03 i believe except for the brembo brakes. So it is something expected.

Unfortunately in CT there are only 2 dealerships in the whole state. I guess i am going to try one in NY next time.

I went to both Harte and Devon Infiniti. Harte owns one in New Haven and in Hartford, Devon is in Fairfield.

From the sounds of things you live in western CT. If you were closer to RI I'd recommend Inskip Infiniti in Warwick. My experience with them has been stellar.

Be thankful they give you loaners. Here we only have 1 dealer, which brags of being the EXCLUSIVE Inf. dealer and they dont give loaners. They used to, but supposedly ppl abuse the cars so they dont anymore.....

They better for a warranty item because its in the purchase agreement. My dealerships give it for anything that takes longer than an hour (including the maintenance items). The dealerships where I live are great.

Thats strange, the Infiniti dealership in White Plains NY (Pepe Infiniti) has never done me wrong. They are always on time, cover all of my little requests, and give me a clean inside and out loaner. Maybe you shjould try them. I travel to CT every now and then and I don't belive its very far from White Plains.

They are very high class, run by the same Pepe Porsche Management and in the same building.

I live in BKLYN and purchased my car from Atlantic Infiniti in Lynbrook. They were actually the cheapest price I found. Good thing I have never returned back there for service after this story. I take it to Kings Infiniti in BKLYN. No complaints really.

I was wondering if pads and rotors are covered under warranty

05 Coupe

I bought my G at "Infiniti Of Greenwich", so there is a third one in CT. they gave me the cheapest price and didn't try to play around with the price since I'm coming from NYC and wanted a specific color and they are the only one who has it after calling 8 dealers in NJ, NY. They seem to be honest and straight forward, same thing with Kings infiniti, they do my maintenance since they are closer to me and they threat me as their own customer.

i pick up plenty of customers all around the tri state area for service at my dealership -- Infiniti of Massapequa. As far as price, everyone has the same products and inventory so I would be able to get you into your next Infiniti if you know anyone looking for a honest and reliable sales consultant.
