Add a 3rd seat to the rear shouldn't be that hard if you're making it for someone very small. All you need to do is remove the rear bench seat and take it to a shop to have them remove the center console and add some foam and leather. Probably a good idea to have them redo the whole bench. Seat belt wise, if you've ever removed the rear seats, you'll notice they just bolt down to the metal body. Get a lap belt and use the existing bolts to add another seat belt for the rear. The only problem for the center rear seat would be headroom.

Just pop the rear seat out and fasten the new lap belts to the two existing inboard seatbelt anchor positions go to an upholstery shop have them make you a matching butt pad & you're in business.
We use our Honda Odyssey for our main family transportation with the built in DVD and all.
But if need be, like if the Hondas in the shop I can use the G & My Three Kids love it back there.

R33's are everywhere now!!!
and there are lots of 32's.
RB POWER!!!
R32 through R34 are "grey" imports except for the few 32 GTR's that were sold here off the showroom floor. Remember Australia is the only place outside Japan that the GTR has been sold from a showroom,
We have all the older models too!

call me ghetto but i have had 5 + people in my coupe on many occasions. i put a small cusshion on top of the rear center console and had them plop their asses. no joke i had four teenagers in the back at one point
not saying it was confortable but it was doable. 3 ppl in the back would fit fine
in my opinion if you level the middle with the two side seats there will be plenty of room.

i'd say go w/something else. the g coupe really isn't meant for cramming in the whole family. sucha hassle getting in n out from the back.

I have another car for the family that has loads of room!
However, on occasion I may need to take my kids in the car, which I do now in my 5 seat R33 coupe, maybe once a week.
If I wanted a car where no one was going to use the back seat I would buy a 350Z.
And how is it possible that a person is more likely to fly out the front window of a coupe than a sedan in an accident? Assuming that correct restraints are installed?
Sorry for the rant, but this is what I want, it can and has been done and it would be safe if done correctly.

Oh and here are the interior dimensions
Coupe
Head room (front/rear) 39.2/34.7
Leg room (front/rear) 43.8/31.4
Shoulder room (front/rear) 53.7/52.7
Hip room (front/rear) 53.6/48.0
Sedan
Head room (front/rear) 40.1/37.9
Leg room (front/rear) 43.6/33.6
Shoulder room (front/rear) 56.4/55.5
Hip room (front/rear) 52.2/54.1
Coupe has 3 inches less shoulder room in the back, but interestingly enough 3inches less in the front also!
6 inches less hip room! ouch!
Head and leg room are no big deal cause my kids are only young still, but nice to see only 2 inches less leg room than the sedan.
