Swirl marks are a problem...I a '02 i30 (or something like that) in the dealer's showroom in twilight blue and you could see all the swirl marks under the floresent lighting. Maybe the dealers deatailing crew weren't good.
I don't mind though...it's almost like incentive to care for the finish properly...I'm sure detailing is much more gratifying on this color...

 

Bmw5...here's the million dollar question...as the only person who appears to have seen this color in person on the coupe do you think it looks nice? Are you glad you ordered it?

 

justme97...Yes, I think the coupe looks good in TB. No regrets about ordering in that color. I had seen TB on a Q45 and G35 sedan before I placed my order, so I pretty much knew what I was getting. If I had a choice, I would have preferred it to be a little lighter, but I still think it looks great. I think the lines of the coupe make the blue come out a little better than the other two cars.
I'm not worried too much about swirl marks, as I plan on doing all the cleaning and detailing myself.

 

The Twilight Blue is the best of both worlds. For those who like black - it's pretty damn dark. For those who like blue - it's still blue.

And for those doubters: Swirl marks-Shirl marks - get whatever damn color you like!

I was thinking tb was the same as nissan's midnight blue but I was WRONG. I saw a g20 on the street in what must have been tb because it was sorta blueish with the sun behind you but practically black with the sun in front of you. It's refelctive quality is awsome! I can tell you will have to keep the finish well maintined but you'll be rewared with a head turning car. Very sleek and classy but certainly not a "fun" blue.
I'm going for it!
