hey guys had my alarm system installed last night and apparently the guys lost the ring that goes around the lit up ignition ring that houses the black ignition. my question is, is there really another ring outside the clear lit ring to house it? or is the only ring on the black ignition the clear ring and they happened not to install it properly( in otherwords it seems like the ignition could go further in.

this is exactly why i haven't gotten an alarm put in yet.... your lucky all they did is lose a ring.. thats easily replacable.

well i had them come over and do it at my home. i was there the whole time with them but no idea where that ring went. anyone know any parts dealers online to order this thing? my dealer is about an hour away. thanks RX

You have the ACTUAL HID clears?? the ones that cost over a couple hundred bucks?? or did you put incandescent replacement bulbs (like PIAAs) in your clears?
