OK... Here is the low down.

I have had my car stored since November. All the usual B.S. precausionary crap. So today I decided that I am sick of having it in storage and want to drive it. I go out and put the battery back in and get everything squared away and go to start it. It barelly turns over, clicks twice and then my whole dash lights up and it doesn't try to turn over anymore. Every warning light is on in the G. All of them, like I tripped something up. THen when I turn the key again, it just clicks at me. no turning over. So I let it sit for a while with a space heater blowing underneath the car and go back out to it. I try to start it again and the same thing happens; it turns a little and then stops trying. Obviously the computer is shutting it down to prevent flooding, but what do I do? I want to drive it and i am hoping that the heater will warm things up enough to start it but has anyone ever heard of this before?

 

the battery has discharged enough so the car wont start,go buy a battery charger and recharge it for several hours.when storing a car with battery in or out,its a good idea to have a trickle chargerto keep battery at optimal levels.

 

yep battery is dead.....if you store your car for that long you should either start it every nw and again or trickle charge it.

 

Does it snow where you live?

You never turned the motor over while it's been sitting there? That can be REALLY bad for the engine. I know it takes a bit longer to cease but you should check your fluids if you live in an area where it snows. Coolant and oil. The battery does lose charge if it's just sitting so check that with a volt meter.

 

Probably not a seized motor. FLuid's are still fluid and coolant is fine. Battery however, may not be making the cold cranking amps it should

 

Battery is dead.. just take it out and take it to an AutoZone and have it tested and recharged for free. If the battery is too dead and cannot hold a charge, you will have to buy a new one.

I stored my car since November also. But I turn it on for 10 minutes twice a week. Just to make sure everything is still ok.

 

Battery is on vacation.

 

i put a charger on my battery every 3 weeks, but it's pretty much
topped off w/o charging. it's got nice high cca.

last time i drove it was early January.

Check the battery first if its expanded then battery is frozen..**DONT CHARGE IT** let it thaw out and then charge best to take the caps off and look inside if that are all frozen its just decharged if its only once cell that is frozen the whole battery is useless go buy a new on..i have seex guys try ot charge a battery frozen...just let me say its goes boom so watch out

As others have said, it's a simple matter of charging the battery. What you've described is classic low battery symptoms. I left mine for 4 months last year with negative disconnected with no charging it and it started up instantly.
