I thought our cars have a decent sized trunk for a coupe. And the back seat folds down, which isn't something that's available on many performance oriented cars. Check out a 350Z's trunk sometime to see what it means to have a small trunk.

my favorite part of the trunk is that little picture explaining how you can fit 2 full size golf bags into the trunk... there's something to brag about!

Are you over 18 and live at home for free? Consider the Costco bill cheap rent.

well, the trunk is small but I have successfully gotten into the trunk. I'm 6'1" too. Hehe long story, sitting in the car admiring it on the first day in the driveway. Had to test the size of the trunk.

There are a couple of reasons as to why our trunks are so small.

1) Horizontally mounted exhaust system borrowed from the 350Z. My conservative estimate is that if Nissan had used a normal exhaust on the G similar to the M35, we could have easily gained an additional 30-40% trunk space.

2) High trunk line on the rear end to accent the sportiness of the coupe does not allow for very deep trunk placement.

3) Short rear overhang.

Would you guys have been willing to sacrifice the sexy exhaust note on the coupe for additional space in the trunk?

LOL. I can fit 2 golf bags in my BMW Z4's trunk too.

I think the G35's trunk is about the same size as my Z4's. But the fold-down back-seats can be really handy sometimes.

Having troubles with the size of the trunk???? Cut up the bodies smaller or buy a trailer. It'll look cool is you match the rims and color of the car. Don't forget to post pics when done!!! Just kidding.............. about the body parts

A kidnapper should be wise enough to cut it off before performing the deed...

With the rear seat folded down, there is some good space for cargo. I took the car to a hiking/camping trip and fit 2 large backpacks + 2 pairs of boots in there w/ the seat folded down.
