Jet V-chip
anyone heard of that chip/module that JET has for our cars??..i was looking into buying a chip for the coupe but the whole technosquare and UTEC thing is too complicated/expensive. I noticed that JET has a module called the "JET V-FORCE module for imports" and they also have something where you send them your ecu, similar to technosquare i think. so i was wondering if anyone else has looked into that vforce module. its cheaper than doing anything else and it also seems safer than those chips that are on ebay for like $20 bucks...you can also turn this module on and off...im not sure how everything works but im gonna call them tomorrow and find out so ill repost with more info...

but who says that those two are the only legit ones??..i mean what if this one is too?..i dont think JET is just some upstart company trying to con us...they make a lot of performance chips for american cars and have a couple of things for the imports...check out their website www.jetchip.com
i just dont see why there cant be any other legit modules out there for us..i would love to meet the guy who cemented the fact that techno and utec are the only "legit" chips out there

i talked to JET yesterday and they were really helpful at answering all my questions...apparently that v force module is meant for the 350z cause our ECU is a lot more sensitive than that of the Z...i didnt know that..the guy told me i can go ahead and get that module but it would throw a check engine light...but what they do offer is the same services as UTEC...he said that i can send in my ECU and that they would tune it according to what MODS i had on my car...they charge $399 but he said you can get it threw stillen for a lot less...he also told me they do the exact same thing as UTEC does and said that he does have a lot of G35 customers...apparently none of them are on this forum...anyway just thought id share my knowledge and let you guys know that there is another way to mod the ECU and its for a lot cheaper and its a lot quicker...he guranteed that i would have my ECU back in 1-2 days...well there you go...hope it helps
