Great stories guys. I, too, am big on reading, then doing. When I got my G coupe, I had to drive it home about 130 miles. Before even showing it to my wife, I swung by a friend's house to show it off. Drove him around, then let him drive. Next night, we are reading the manual together. Turns out that I violated 4 of the 5 "Don't Do's" in the break-in period. Thank goodness I do not have anything to tow, or I might have gone for 5 out of 5!! Bottom line is, this car is too sweeeeeet to pamper. Drive the crap out of it, and in 4 years, maybe a Porsche Turbo!! Either way, I am going down swinging!

Just an opinion: If I'd had the 'book' a couple of weeks b4 the car came, I could have done something constructive and useful, instead of going 'round the bend' waiting for the car. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRR
