All Season tires.

I currently have aftermarket rims and snow tires, I really love those rims, and would like to install all season tires onto them, sell those winter tires and never again have to switch back and forth.

I am located in NY city area, wondering if all seasons can be okay in the winter. Not much driving when snows.

What kind of all season tires do you recommend? performs well.

the problem is all seasons aren't very good at one thing.

They'll be mediocure at handling during the dry summer months. And they're not great in the snow. So if you do get caught in a snow storm you might find them to be rather crappy.

I'd recommend getting a set of 350z 17's ($300) and mounthing snows on them. Then all you have to do it swap the wheels (1 hr twice a year).

it'll save your rims too... cause the salt will destroy any rim in about 3 years.

Not too sure, but I don't think it's really possible to find great handling and good snow traction in the same tires... but there are tires with great handling and great wet traction...
