I am going to order some overlays for the rear lights and was thinking of going with the lighter 3/10 tint. Do you think this will be to light. I am looking for something noticeable, but not to obviouse to cops.

take a look at the pictures on blue batmobile's website. personally i think the 3/10 will look good, i wouln't want it too dark, but that's just me

 

Too dark isn't classy, imo.

 

Do cops have different eyes than civilians? haha Last I checked, tinted tails weren't illegal....yet

 

3/10 on lighter colors. Then again, if you have dark accents like dark tint, 6/10 would look good as well in my GTR Style Overlays .

That's funny cause a lot of Pontiac's have tinted plastic in back with red underneath

 

True, alot of cars nowadays come out of the factory with tinted tails. Also look at the Euro cars. Smoke reverse lamps are really common .

the 3/10 isnt dark enough......i dont see the point there is almost no difference.....go with the 6/10

 

i'm also planning on getting 3/10, either full or GTR. but my cars black, and i don't really like the total smoked look. how do the 3/10 GTR's look?

 

I think 3/10 looks just perfect in my opinion

 

get them dark 6/10. 3/10 isn't that noticeable

 

Another vote for 6/10 on black. Thats what I have with a 15% tint and it is awesome. Not awesome enough for me to want to keep my car (selling it), but still awesome, hehe.

 

If going full smoke, I'd go with 3/10. If going GTR-style, I'd go with 6/10. The 3/10 GTRs look really light.

 

Yes, if you go GTR Styule, get the 6/10. Cant really see the contrast with the 3/10 tint.
