Bigger wheels will make your car accelerate slower at all speeds. The larger wheel diameter effectively changes the gearing, and in some cases the wheels will be heavier and have more rotational mass.

Very large wheels = eye candy

first of all, i'm no ricer, I promise you that. I'm probably gonna pickup some axis rims next week, i was just thinking that in silver with low profile tires and spacer they might look decent.

I've always had clean cars. I just got rid of a loaded 2005 evo that ran 11.9 on pump with stock turbo and had 19" volks. I was just toying with this idea

FX35 20's have a different offset and won't clear the G35 coupe. same thinghow you can't throw the G35 sedan rims on a coupe

I think it would look good.
They're were a lot of haters and people just saying its a stupid idea and that it woudln't look right when I was thinking of putting the M sport wheels on....now that its done...I get nothing but compliments.
Its a good idea, I would try to go with the new FX45 wheels versus the older flat design ones though.

yea the new ones are the ones i'm referring to. with 15mm spacers the offset would be fine
