Actually the reason that the wing is that high... is because of the shape of the cabin... if the wing was the lower the air would pass way above the wing (off the tall roof line) and not create any downforce... I guess all open wheel cars with huge wings on the back are ugly... and big ones on NHRA dragsters are for looks only.

I guess I am a little defensive because I used to have an Evo. Would you take offense if someone said that the G35 is an overweight oaf of a car... that even with it's good looks would get is A$$ thwamped by an ugly grocery getter with an airplane wing on the back?

Well I don't race, so there is no need to get to speeds over 100mph, and the G gets me there fast enough (well could be a little faster) plus it looks and rides great. Not bashing the EVO, it just looks like a teenager's car and quite ugly. I don't why those designers didn't just make the car look better, cuz mechanically it's great.

If you are looking for a reflash, there is always Technosquare right now. The price is 6-something for the reflash, but if you want it done good, of course your car needs to be dyno tuned. But they want too much for the programs to do it ourselves, and I do not know anywhere near me that works with Technosquare... I am waiting for a different program that is currently in development. Not sure what's going on with that right now, but I'm just waiting...

dofu... 6XX for a tune DANG... this car is really expensive to mod... I guess that is due to relatively limited base that wants to mod the car.

When I had the Evo... I got a full dyno tune for under 200. And got a full stage 1 kit from Buschur racing (well known dsm tuner) that included full 3" turbo back exhaust, intake, MBC and gauge... for 1800... Those were the days (only about 3 weeks ago )

and it is easy to make the wrong decsion.. I thought I wanted 100% performance... until my 32 mile each way commute became boringg, becuase I was "racing". That is when I realized stuff like a sun roof, nice leather and bluetooth mattered I haven't been happier!

Wow, thanks for all the feedback guys. I'm planning to go test driving soon but the only problem is theres not many evos for sale around here anymore...I gotta drive up north and I don't have the time right now, Gs seem to be a dime a dozen at any Infiniti dealer these days. I guess I can't really decide until I drive both of these babies!
