Yeah, you're right... I don't know why I let that bother me.... It just pissed me off cuz he almost hit me, cutting me off, and sqeezing between cars as I slowed down to 65 already....

Even the wife was all, "WTF was that all about, that guy was 3 lanes over and way behind us..."

One time cruising along the highway a kid in a riced out eclipse flies by me (I was doing 60, he was prolly pushing 90) and his passenger gives a thumb down out the window, people do crazy things when their jealous .

 

Yup, that pretty much what happened to me...

But he gots the stickers over me....

 

and we all know stickers add at least 50 HP

 

I think personally the fact that someone wants to race or *thinks* they are racing you is just a compliment to your G!

When this happens to me (and it does let me assure you), I usually just let them do their own thing and race off, I'm not going to wreck my baby, but to me it's a nice compliment that people see my car and assume that I want to race b/c it looks nice and is fast.

If you have a bummy car and no one ever blows up to you wanting to race, then think how you'll feel. HA!

Anyways, I do UNDERSTAND where you are coming from brother! Just blow it off, or vent like you're doing here and just take your G home and wiped him down with a diaper knowing that the Craparo will NEVER be on the same level as the V35!!!

 

I think he had a NOS sticker... so that added and extra 20 HP, for a total of 70 HP....

 

In my highschool days, it was an STP sticker. You got one with every can.

I would love to cruise at 85 mph, in Bakersfield, but with the Highway Patrol here on the 10 fwy in Los Angeles around La Brea/Fairfax .... uh, not so much...

 

Right on, just didn't seem that bad when i lived down there 3 years ago.
Maybe Irvine/OC, where i was, is different.

In any event, I love the radar detector for the Highways/Freeways, never a speeding ticket on the open road yet....

 

Well back here in the midwest, it's the ignorant red-necks that drive anything american supercharged, like Impala's, Monte's, GTPs. They ARE the fastest cars on the road right? HELL NO, but they sure think so. Gets old, very old. Still waiting for that bad a$$ dude down the block with his bad a$$ G6 coupe to think he can take me on.

 

I had a guy in a BMW 318TI tried to race me. I just got the car about a week and still trying to break the car in...He had his GF in the car so trying to see if he can beat a G35 so he can get some that night. =o) I bought my car for the looks and extra power. I'm starting to get a lot of those little ricky racers trying to prove they got *****. Its not worth te racing ticket. I heard the fine for that is pretty steep.
