Brilliant Silver Bumper is changing colours
Hi Guys,
Just noticed the colour of my back bumper (brilliant Silver) is slightly off now...after 8 months...
Any of you have this and had it fixed by the dealer? I'm going in on the 13th to have the dealer take a look...
Any feedback you guys can give would be appreciated.

Did you wax ur car recently? That might be it, but yea the plastic panels might be a half a shade off b/c of the difference in material (plastic v. metal) as others have posted. This is especailly true on the lighter colors.
I dont know how different the 2 colors are, but your bumper is plastic and so all cars will have differeing colors from those metal painted panels. I didnt notice it until my body shop pointed it out to me.
But if the matching is way way off, then thats a different story.

I did use Zaino Z2 last week...but I haven't tried taking it off just to see if the colour is still different...what do you guys think? Should I take off the Z2 and see how it looks?
I've experiences like this before. One way to solve it is to get the bumper painted and make sure the painter uses at least 2 coats of paint. Make sure the painter includes a flex agent in the paint for durability.
