'06 350z vs. my g35

So the ***** at work 'bought' (who knows if its really his, tho he drives it to work) a new 350z and instantly goes to me, cuz everyone knows I got the fast car in the joint.

So he thinks cuz he's got the 6mt rev-up that he can royally kick my ***...

Lets look at the facts.

Bone stock-- probably an okay driver at best 350z '06

verses

'04 5AT, with stillen hi-flow intake, ztube, kintex v4 plenum, borla headers, highflow cats, and a Injen SES trueduel exhaust.

Dyno'ing about 268-275ish to the realwheels depending on all that crazy stuff

I got 50 bucks on at least a car length.. I've got to have 30 or 40 torque on him.

the cats and plenum should make a solid difference. i heard borla headers don't do much tho :-/

Well, his car isn't broken in yet, so you have the advantage there. Stock versus stock you have the torque advantage. Stock versus stock it would come down to an drivers race, but you have all those mods. Plus, you know your car more than he does. I would think you would kick his a$$ no problem.

Good luck. (Although I don't you will need it.)

268 - 275? ..you'll need a dyno sheet to prove to that... and about ur race.. it all depends on how good of a driver the guy with the Z is .... good luck .. let us know what happens

+1, makes a big diff. ~300 lbs, that's a lot to make up for. but the torque u picked up should help.

It's probably what the guy who was selling the mods told him, and we know that he wouldn't lie.

Having driven both 5AT and 6MT Gs for a long time I can tell you, all your mods made you equal with the 6mt Z at best. So unless if he sucks at stick, you will beat him. But yea, I would like to see that dyno as well.
