ECU, Crawford, or Headers, Which One should I get?
i am in the market for either a technosquare ecu, crawford plenum, or a pair of borla headers. i was wondering what all you people out there think i should get. my main concern is that i don't want any problems when i go to the dealer. let me know

i would do the plenum because out fo all the mods u said that one will give u the most power. Though it is going to obvius that u have. Then maybe down the road i would get the ECU but from what i have herd techno square will make a ne ECU program that will work better with the Plenum. Good luck and let us know what u end up doing.

Do a search. It replaces the top of the stock plenum (intake manifold) with a modified (larger in the front) plenum that equalizes the air fed to the front and rear cylinders. The stock one strangles the fronts (30% less air than the rears). There's much written about it here and at my350z.com. If you care about performance, it's a must do mod.

like lowrider said..... the stock plenum (feeds air into the cylinders) limits cylinders 4, 5, and 6 by as much as 30% less air than the top 3 cylinders. The Crawford plenum is a mod'd plenum which increases airflow so that the air restriction difference is only 5%. It is good for 10-15HP above 3,500RPM and costs $500

MrElussive, I'm waiting on my Crawford now-- should have it installed sometime this week. I'll post with pics etc.
Check out Crawford's website, along with posts on our site. It's been described as one of the best mods to make short of FI.
I got mine thru StrictlyZ
Here's the link to

Forgive my ignorance--
if this replaces the intake "manifold", does that mean that you can also get a cold-air-intake to get even more gains? or is it just one or the other?
OK, i win rookie of the year regarding mods!
