Porterfield called me today saying that they started mass producing pads for the 05-06 G35 6mt. About 2 weeks ago they still need to custom make the pads for 05-06, the cost is about double of what they are chargin me now.

Just want to share the joy to you guys!

 

Never heard of these. What benefits do they give to 05-06 brakes? Anyone have experience with them?

 

why did they stop production of the brembo brakes on the 05-06 models?

 

the Brembos don't suck, they're just more expensive and not needed. They don't stop the car any better than the stock brakes, they just fade less.

The Brembos are great for track work, total overkill and overcost for a daily driver.

 

To the eyes of most people, so is our whole car.
