Man today sucked got my 2nd ticket with the G35. Well here is what happend i was driving on the 210w to goto pasadena and the high patrol guy pulls me over and said that i was speeding, no signaling, and chaging in n out of lanes. So after when he told me that i said to him that i was siganling and i was not chaging in n out of lanes. Then he said "Ohh so its like that huh, roll up your windows" then he went to the front of the car and saw no front plates. So after all of that he busted me for tailgating, tints, and no front plates.

So yeah no i gotta goto court but i just finished traffic school for another ticket i got this month. So i guess i'm going to have 1 point on my record.

Could anyone tell me how bad is 1 point on your record? Will my insurence go up? Also how many years will it take for that 1 point to go away? I'm thinking 3 years?

 

was the traffic school u went to recently an 8 hour class? if yes, you can do traffic school again. make an apointment to talk to the judge and ONLY the judge. tell him you want to take stage 2 traffic school, which is 12 hours. alot of people do it. now, GO! VANISH!

Best thing to do when u get stopped be polite and admit ur guilt and u will have a better chance of not getting a ticket. When u tell them I didnt do this and that and he stopped u for that particular reason they think u are trying to fool them thats why he gave u the front plate and tint ticket.

I have got away with about 5 warnings from the cops by being polite and admitting my guilt. Once i redlined 3 gears at night in an empty street and got away with just a chew out.

As far as points on ur record u can take traffic school if u havent taken for certain period of time (i dont know the exact duration).

I wasnt going in n out of lanes or not signaling. All did was just speeding i admited to that i was doing 75 on a 65.

 

1 point, bro? You're worried? Don't sweat it man, I had 11 on my license at one time, you're fine.........word of advice though.....NEVER argue or question the cop at any traffic stop. I've been to court for EVERYTHING you can possibly think of. And after 11 points, I can go to court and fight anything I get.....take it as a learning experience. Heck, I just got a speeding ticket this past weekend leaving this chick's house...probably gonna fight that too! lol

And BTW I pay a little over $900 every six months for my G for full coverage insurance! lol Not bad, huh?

 

I've gotten pulled over twice since I started driving I got two tickets. I was nice to both cops, but they gave me one anyway. My girlfriend has gotten pulled over 8 times and has 0 tickets. She cries every time they pull her over.

 

That's not fair, no wonder why men have to pay more for insurance. I've been stopped 4 times and only got a ticket once. 68 in a 40, 70 in a 45 (it helped that I had an off duty cop in the car with me), and 70 in a 55 got of all those with a warning. Then I got 62 in a 35 and the cop lowered it to 44 in a 35 (saved me a bunch of money). Those damn cops are always waiting right where the speed limit drops, but it pays to admit your guilt and be nice to the guy.

 

Damn 11 points. What do those points mean when they go on your record? How come you haveso much but your insurence is still low. Was all those points within one year?

Thats a damn fun freeway though i hit 110 on it last night at around 2am after being asked by a cop to go home from being parked on La Tuna Canyon road.

 

Listen, cops are nothing but glorified gang members. They have guns and like throwing their weight around. Don't give them a reason to be bigger dicks than they already are. Whenever I get pulled over (once every few years) I don't say ****t! I even had a cop ask me if I spoke english because I wouldn't respond to his sarcasm. Next time, clam up and take the ticket to a ticket clinic. Problem solved.
